Tell us when you book. We use a tell-show-do approach, short appointments and plenty of breaks.
Teenagers
Advice on braces and aligners, sports mouthguards and the habits that protect teeth for life.
Every step is explained before it happens, and you can pause at any point.

Your child meets Dr. Reyes, rides the chair up and down and sees the instruments before they are used.

We count and check each tooth and look at how the jaw and bite are developing. X-rays are only taken when needed.

A gentle polish, then fluoride varnish or fissure sealants if we recommend them.

We show you and your child how to brush well and talk about snacks, drinks and thumb-sucking where relevant.

Results and aftercare /
Aftercare
After fluoride varnish, avoid eating for 30 minutes and skip brushing until the next morning.
Brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste: a smear for under-threes, a pea-sized amount from age three.
Help with brushing until your child is around seven or eight.
Keep sugary snacks and drinks to mealtimes.
