Stains whitening cannot shift

Things to know
Veneers usually need a thin layer of enamel removed. Healthy gums matter, and if you grind your teeth you will need a night guard.

Dr. Varga photographs and scans your teeth, then designs the new shape on screen with you.

A tooth-coloured mock-up is placed over your teeth so you can see and feel the design before anything is changed.

The teeth are gently prepared, usually removing around half a millimetre of enamel, and temporary veneers are fitted.

Two to three weeks later your porcelain veneers are checked for fit and shade, then bonded in place.

Results and aftercare /
Aftercare
Brush and clean between your teeth as normal. Veneers need no special products.
Avoid biting directly into very hard things such as ice, pens or nutshells.
Wear a night guard if you grind or clench your teeth.
Keep your six-monthly check-ups so we can check the edges and your gums.

Preparation removes a thin layer of enamel, which does not grow back, so veneers are a permanent commitment. Some cases suit minimal-preparation veneers, and we will tell you if yours does.
